Newcastle U3A complies with NSW Government restrictions and has developed a Safety Plan to help protect members from the risk of COVID19.
IMPORTANT: Please check the Term 2 2022 program for zoom or outdoor options with vacancies, if you are concerned or unvaccinated.
- It is each member’s responsibility to assess their own risk when determining whether to attend face-to-face classes
- Members with covid-like symptons are not permitted to attend face-for-face classes
- For the protection of all members, you will not be permitted to attend face-to-face classes unless you are fully vaccinated, or have a medical exemption. Please bring evidence to your first class, in case your tutor seeks proof
- NSW government strongly encourages masks, especially in indoor venues where unable to maintain a distance of at least 1.5m apart from non-family members
- Members must not attend face-to-face classes for at least 14 days after contracting COVID and symptom-free
- Our COVID19 Safety Plan below details what will be expected of you and what we will do to help make each venue COVID-safe.
