Membership with Newcastle U3A means attending activities as described in our program. Payment is important as your membership and enrolment applications cannot be processed in the absence of evidence of payment. You need to make the payment first and advise your method of payment in your membership application and course enrolment application forms. Please also email firstname.lastname@example.org with the date of payment (and a copy of the receipt if possible) to facilitate identification of your payment.
Please follow the four step process below.
1. Peruse the Program Information Booklet
Carefully read the Program Information Booklet, making a list of your choices as you’ll be using them when entering your selections on our On-Line Enrolment Form
2. Pay your Member Fee
Please note: NU3A does NOT have an online payment option.
If you were a member in Semester 1 there is NO need to renew your membership, however you DO NEED to advise any change to your contact details, see the Member-Update Details button below. There is NO need to re-enrol in a course that you have been attending that continues from Semester 1. You DO need to enrol online (see below) for any new courses in Semester 2 and pay individual Course Extra Fees (if any).
New Members for Semester 2, 2019
New members or those renewing from a previous year must action their $40 membership payment for Semester 2, 2019. If your chosen courses have Course Extra Fees please add those costs to your $40 fee for payment.

3. Enter your Membership details
3A. On-Line Form
New Members please use our Online-Form to enter your personal details and details of your payment action. Continuing members should only use this form to note the payment of additional Course fees (e.g. excursion).
Changes to Contact Details A separate Online-Form is provided for current members only. It can be used at any time throughout the year to update any of your contact details.
3B. Membership Form (paper)
Alternatively click the link to access a downloadable copy of the 2019 NU3A Membership Form. You will need to print, complete and mail the membership and enrolment application form for Semester 2 (see 4B. below)
4. Make your Enrolment Choices
4A. On-Line Form
New members (and Continuing Members ONLY if making additional choices) should use the OnLine-Form to apply for courses. Please note that you cannot use the online form to record absences from a session of a course.
4B. Enrolment Form (paper)
Alternatively click the link to access a downloadable copy of the 2019 Sem. 2 Enrolment Form . You will need to print, enter your chosen course selections, PRINT your name at the top and mail the Sem. 2 Enrolment Form with, for new members, the Membership Form (from 3B. above).
Please allow a few days for your ‘form inputs’ to be processed by our volunteer team.
Membership badges will be available for collection from the office at 21 Gordon Avenue Hamilton during open office hours.

Confirmation of Enrolments and Course Allocations
After processing, you will receive an enrolment confirmation Email or letter confirming the courses you have a place in, or those where you have been wait listed (see below).
Wait List System
All Newcastle U3A enrolment applications are processed in such a way that all members have equal opportunity. If your chosen course is full at the time of processing you will be placed on a wait list. Should an additional place become available later in the year, you will be immediately notified.
Courses and excursions with payments are allocated on the basis of the date your payment is received in the Newcastle U3A bank account. A confirmation of payment will be forward to you.
