Are you retired or semi-retired?
Let yourself grow through U3A
The University of the Third Age (U3A) is a self-help international organisation, where retired and semi-retired people over the age of 50 provide courses for each other. Our courses range from academic classes to a relaxed social get-together. Browse our Frequently Asked Questions page to find out more about how we operate.
|SEMESTER 2 INFORMATION FOR NEW OR CURRENT (2018) MEMBERS|
|NU3A Membership and Semester 2 (Terms 3 & 4) Course Documentation are available from the U3A Office and this website.
FIRST PHASE ENROLMENTS CLOSED on Thursday 10 May 2018. New enrolments (and memberships) will continue to be accepted as detailed below.
You may return your completed forms by post, OR by sending a scanned copy to firstname.lastname@example.org, OR by hand delivery to the NU3A Office (if required, office hours are noted on the Contact page) or lodgement in the ‘drop box’ at the NU3A Office. Be aware that the office does not accept cash, credit cards or EFTPOS.
Applications received by 10 May will be subject to a ballot process for chosen courses where there are more applicants than places available. After 10 May, vacancies in non-balloted courses will be allocated on a first-in, first served basis.
If you are currently enrolled in a continuing course, that is, a course that commenced in Semester 1 and is continuing in Semester 2, you do not need to re-apply for that course. Your place will be automatically transferred to the Semester 2 roll. Be aware though, that all course rolls will be declared vacant at the end of 2018 and you will need to reapply at the beginning of 2019.
